Occasions Perfect for a Espresso Martini

Rewarding Yourself

Your kindergarten teacher had something there with those gold stars. There’s nothing like the promise of a reward to motivate you to keep going. Once you’ve done the thing, big up yourself! No one is going to celebrate you better than you. You are you, after all.

Brunch doesn’t always have to mean photos in front of neon signs and testing the limits of your waist band with fancy waffles. It can sometimes be just what it means: a breakfast-y lunch. Those can happen at home, if you want and, when they do, don’t deprive yourself of a good cocktail. Now, that part is mandatory.

Late Nights Working

After you’ve worked on that big project until night time, you deserve a break. Close that laptop. Turn off your Gmail notifications. Turn off your brain and pour yourself a cocktail. There is a bath to be drawn or a show to be resumed. Trust, that work will be there in the morning.

Reunion with Old Friends

It’s always nice to reconnect with those “I wonder how they’re doing” friends. When they decide to make the trek to your neck of the woods, greet your people with some cocktails. Welcoming them into your home with an Espresso Martini says “Don’t bring up that dumb thing I did. I’m an adult.”
