3 Easy Spiked Tea Cocktails to give you all the Hygge Vibes

If you’ve ventured (or stumbled) into the world of interior décor YouTube, you may have heard of the latest Scandi import that has nothing to do with IKEA – hygge (pronounced hoo-gah). It’s a Dutch concept that’s all about creating optimal coziness for yourself and your crew in your home, but It’s not just about having 2,000 throw pillows and massive blankets; it’s also about warm beverages and scents and anything that makes anyone in your space feel warm and welcome. The Dutch love tea for hygge vibes, but what could make you feel cozier than spiked tea? These are easy cocktails that you can just eyeball that are perfect for curling up on the couch with your pet or bae.  Here are a few combos you should try featuring BuzzBallz and BuzzTallz. If your local store doesn’t sell herbal tea in tea bags, you may need to invest in a tea infuser. Your local grocery or homewares store will most likely sell them.

English Breakfast Tea and Strawberry Rum Job BuzzBallz

Naturally a bit robust in flavor and moderately caffeinated, English Breakfast is a type of black tea which, you guessed it, is popular in England to drink with their “interesting” breakfast choices. No beans were harmed in the making of this blog post. There is a slight tartness to the flavor of English Breakfast Tea, so many people traditionally add milk and sugar to it. However, we’re for the spiked tea. This pairs well with Strawberry Rum Job BuzzBallz because the sweetness of the strawberry and rum mellow out the earthy, tart flavor of the English Breakfast. Just brew about 6 ounces of tea; shake your can and pour in roughly 1 to 2 ounces of Strawberry Rum and stir.

Chai Tea and Choc Tease BuzzBallz

Chai is a naturally sweet black tea blended with Masala Chai spices, ginger, and cinnamon. This is another tea that’s popular for breakfast but can be served any time. Typically, this is served creamy in coffee shops. Heavy cream or creamer is usually used or soy or almond milk to make it non-dairy. In this case, we’re opting to compliment all of the spice with the rich, creaminess of the Chocolate Tease. For a spicier option, opt for the Horchata BuzzTallz instead. Just like the previous cocktail, simply shake the can and add between 1 and 2 ounces to taste.

Mint Tea and Peach BuzzBallz

Mint is a staple ingredient in lots of cocktails because it packs a major punch; it’s aromatic and it instantly makes the drink 10 times more refreshing (which makes guests want more). The tea itself is a burst of mint flavor as it’s made of crushed tea leaves. The bright, aromatic flavor is best served with a sweet or citrus mixer. So, we’ve opted for the Peach BuzzBallz, but the Stiff Lemonade BuzzTallz would also work for this spiked tea combo. Again, simply shake the can and add between 1 and 2 ounces of your cocktail to taste and sir.
