How the Party Started

THE PROBLEM
A blazing Texas afternoon in the mid-2000s. High school teacher Merrilee Kick is poolside, grading papers, craving something cold and boozy, but not in a fragile glass…

THE “AHA” MOMENT
Inspired by a keepsake votive and a can of tennis balls, Merrilee dreamed up a cocktail-in-a-ball – fun, portable, and way cooler than anything else on the shelf.

THE HUSTLE
Merrilee got her MBA (because she’s fun AND smart!), did a ton of research, and convinced her family to get in on the action.

THE VICTORY
Finally, BuzzBallz were born. Now, those fun, perfectly round cocktails aren’t just for Texas anymore. You can find them national and international – turning happy hours into happier hours all over the globe!
Mission
What we Stand for
We’re all about having a good time, but we also like to play nice. We’re proud to say our drinks are kosher and gluten-free, so everyone can join the party. And since we love our planet as much as we love a good cocktail, we’ve partnered with TerraCycle to make sure our ballz get recycled. We’re serious about not being serious, and that means taking care of the planet while we’re at it.
